The Multi-Family Estimator is responsible for estimating for type 3 and type 5 construction for wood frame multi-story buildings.
Associates will meet with contractors and their customers to assist them in the estimating process and complete all plans in the time frame agreed upon with clients.
Estimators must be very detail orientated, patient, and have experience estimating either manually or with approved software.
This position assists in the day-to-day operations of the store as assigned by the Store Manager.
Responsibilities:
Create material lists for the specific purposes of installed sales Will be involved in material usage in addition to estimating Will work on the creation of scopes of work for subcontracted labor Reading plans and creating estimates Meeting with customers or making changes Store duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Ability to use discretion and independent judgment.
Ability to review a given set of architectural drawings and estimate the costs for the various wood materials and labor to complete the job.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business reports, technical procedures and /or government regulations; write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals; effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists; interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
