Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Technician to join our team.
As a Desktop Support Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users.
You will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving our IT infrastructure to ensure smooth operations.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and assistance to end-users, both in person and remotely - Install, configure, and maintain desktop hardware and software - Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, performing repairs or replacements as necessary - Diagnose network connectivity problems and resolve them in a timely manner - Collaborate with the IT team to implement and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure - Analyze system logs and identify potential issues or trends - Assist with Windows Server administration tasks, such as user management and file permissions - Provide technical guidance and support for various applications and systems - Maintain accurate documentation of all support activities Skills:
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and servers - Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals - Familiarity with TCP/IP protocols, DNS, DHCP, and network administration - Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex issues and find effective solutions - Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users - Experience in providing technical support in a professional environment - Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team If you are a motivated individual with a passion for technology and providing excellent customer service, we encourage you to apply for the position of Desktop Support Technician.
